Hello Maria,
I thought I would update you on Luna at 2 years. She is doing very well, and
is an absolute joy to everyone. She is so beautiful, and so graceful,
strangers stop my mom on the streets to comment on her grace and liquid
movement. Comments on her colouring and temperament are constant, and she is
a perfect German Shepherd Dog in every sense. She is extremely responsive,
and has a very strong personality, loyalty to her family is apparent in
everything she does. Watching her run and trot is like watching water move
over rocks; she has such a lovely pace.
I am attaching several photos of her on her 2nd birthday, and will try to
send a short video of her playing with my dog Daisy at one of the parks we
frequent.
She has 2 long offleash runs daily, one with mom in the morning, and one
with me in the evening, with Dad taking her for extra walks and car rides as
often as he can.
Thank you, again, for giving us one of your lovely dogs, she is the most
beautiful GSD we have ever seen, and several other Shepherd owners have said
the same.
Regards,
Janice

Hi Maria my mom said
I should send you some recent pictures of myself. I turned two in Sept.
--I'm am so good that when they go to work I have the run of the whole house
--no more being in the kennel for me. I walk my mom to work in the morning
it is a mile and a half there --my dad picks me up and takes me home. Mom
doesn't have to carry her bear spray any more as I will protect her against
anything. When anyone new sees me there also say what a beautiful dog I am
--I think of myself as more handsome as I still go to the groomers once a
month and for my birthday my best friend I run with at Furdale (who is
Rundell the chocolate lab) gave me my own personal dog bag for days when I
might have to stay overnight somewhere---I put it next to my dad's shaving
bag in the bathroom. My mom made a video of me and Rundell running on his
birthday which was in July he turned three and then on the same video she
has me opening Rundell's present the day after my birthday in Sept. I am
very loved and a very happy healthy boy. Merry Christmas to all. Bye for now
Maria. JJ

This dog absolutely
rocks!!! He goes to the bathroom already in the designated area at the side
of our house. He sits and lays down. He also learned no biting really
quick!! Walks great on the leash and is very social. I definitely want to be
on your website under testimonials. I will send you pictures of the boy who
by the way is already at 14lbs. Beatiful dog. Thank you so much and we will
be in touch soon.

Hi Maria
Lexy arrived. We opened the Kennel door at airport and she came running out,
with her tail wagging. Her and Polo are getting to know each
other. She follows us every where, when we walk away she comes bounding
after us. I think we are have a little terror on our hands LOL, she has
already jumped up at Polo. We will send some pics tomorrow. She is now
eating some food and has had 2 or 3 drinks of water. She has
claimed, what is left to and old stuffed toy of Roxy's, seems to be settling
in just fine.
Thanks Again for all you have done, we really appreciate it.

Hi Maria;
I wanted to thank you for breeding such a smart little girl, she totally
amazes me!! She was trying to tell me yesterday and this morning she had to
go out and I didn't clue in and she had an accident, I had just taken her
out and I didn't realize she did not finish what she needed to do! But since
I have been more aware of how she tells me she has had none!! Also, I put
her on the leash today and she was hesitant at first but now she loves it
and does not try to get it off. Also I have lots of cords in my house for
computer etc, and she was trying to chew them and I simply told her no, a
couple of times and gave her a chew toy, now all I have to do is say no when
she forgets and she walks away! My oldest daughter was over last night
looking at her and of course she fell in love with her, and she was wanting
your email info as she would like one as well! Her name is Michele so if you
get an email from her you will know who she is. I don't know when she was
thinking for but maybe you could let me know when the next litter will
be......how often do you breed? I am just very very happy with my little
darling and I wanted to tell you that! I have had german shepherds before
but none this smart at her age!
Thank you!
Talk to you soon,

Well, Tessa is quite
the girl. She licked Bailey on the nose as soon as they met, and as far as
the two of them are concerned, they are mother and daughter. Bailey growled
for the first time ever (that I have heard) when a husky came near her
puppy. Too funny. "Back off. Get your own puppy!" I'm not sure if Tessa has
met cats before, but they are definitely a thing of amusement for her, and
she watches and waits to pounce on one. Neither of them are too impressed
with her, but there have been no spats. Tessa now pees on command in the
designated spot. Well, she does IF we take her out at the right time, and IF
it's not raining.
I made the mistake of stopping to pull a couple of weeds from my flower bed
as we were walking by yesterday, and apparently Tessa realized there was a
job to be done, so she helped. Unfortunately, her idea of weeding was
ripping the blossoms off the pansies.....but she was so cute about it, who
can blame her?
I can't believe the energy this girl has, and how naturally she heals when
walking. We went for quite a long walk - about a mile - and she scampered
along beside us without wandering off. Mind you, she was following the
flag-tale of Bailey, but still. She is going to be easy to train. (famous
last words.)

She's doing great,
what an adorable little girl. A little noisy during the night but we were
expecting that. We're not allowing her to sleep with us, so being all alone
for the first time at night freaks her out a bit. The leash work is coming
along nicely, she gets better every time we put it on her. She's eating
lots, getting plenty of exercise and only had a couple of "accidents"
in the house. Christy and I are both very happy with Trigs. She told me last
night that she really likes her so far, even to go as far as "loves her
already"
And I think we're sticking with Trigger. Trigger Natalie
Trescher.......TNT....she's dynamite!!
Thanks for our newest family member Maria, we'll be sure to keep you
posted.

Hi Maria---so our JJ
became an uncle.
Don't know if you received our last e-mail--JJ walks me to work every
morning, it is a mile and a half then Mick picks him up and takes him home
as we both are on straight days now with every third Fri. off. JJ has had
the run of the house while we are not home since Sept. when he turned two
and has never touched a thing. Such a good boy.
On our days off he has his daily three mile run at the off leash park with
his best friend a chocolate lab called Rundle and boy were they made for
each other because they both like to play rough yet have gentle
personalities.
I have to tell you that when I was walking JJ last week two blocks down from
us a Basset Hound broke his chain and attacked us---JJ held his own with no
injuries. When I went to talk to the person who witnessed this she said JJ
was trying to put himself between me and the attacking dog and she said
twice that she has never seen a German Shepherd that WASN'T showing any
signs of aggression but was just trying to protect his owner---he made me
very PROUD. WE love him very much.
JJ wants you to know he is very happy to be an uncle and maybe one day he
will come back to see his sister. We all hope to see pictures of this litter
soon.

Hello Maria!
We made it home fine and besides a little pee in the kennel all went well on
the ride home! He even slept most of the way! He is doing so well even
on his first day! I had him on the leash and besides a little resistance he
follows me on a perfect heel. We definately needs work in the potty training
arena but he is hitting his toilet training pads on the mark, eventually
we'll move it outside to get him used to the grass for his bathroom.
He is eating and drinking very well with no bringing it up so thats very
good, quite a relief! He is also being very respectful with the cats,
he follows them around and heeds their warning with a positive attitude.
Mica is having problems being separated from us but I am shure with proper
conditioning that will change in time.
Thank you very much for a wonderful dog!

Hi Maria,
I keep meaning to let you know that Dazzle has done a major growth spurt !! She
is as tall as my male English setter and of course weighs twice as much I am
sure. She eats constantly and is very food focused.. hahah.. we have so much
in common !! She is very very smart.. I think she uses Lassie as a
role model. She will often "tattle" on the cats and it is just like she is
talking to me. She will look at what they did..whimper or bark to I look....
look at me to make sure I noticed it...and then run to where they are now
and point at them...It is hard to explain by email but it is quite amazing
!! . She is quite hilarious !!

Hi Maria
Been awhile since we emailed wanted to let you know that everything is going
great. Lexy is still a little terror LOL. She started training on tuesday,
the first day is for the moms and dads to get familiar with what will be
happening. Tonji asked us to bring Lexy to be her demo puppy she did great,
everyone loved her. Tonji was so impressed with her and how good she was.
Everytime we take her out people come up and tell us how beautiful she is.
We have been told a couple of times that we should show her. She is perfect
she floats when she walks.

Hi Maria,
Tessa is happy and healthy and spoiled. She is the talk of the town.
Everyone comes out to talk to her when we're out walking; it's amazing how
many people we've met because of her! She is so social and sweet with
everyone, and scared of nothing. Her favorite thing to do is run through one
of the culverts in the street, so we have to leash her when we go by there
these days. However, she is starting to pay attention to "Leave it", so she
doesn't get totally gross when we go on our walks. She walks on the leash
"loose leash" with absolutely no tugging, so that makes life easy. She also
has learned to go to her mat on command (almost), Come on command reliably,
Sit and Down, and our favorite trick "Where's Matthew". Our trainer at Dog's
Den, Barbara, always tells us what a wonderful Shepherd we have, and
emphasizes how lucky we are. We know. Thank you so much for this beautiful
girl.

Hi Maria,
We were there (at the airport) early
to pick him up. He arrived at 11:30 am our time.
We stopped a couple of times on our way home when he got restless and we
were rewarded with p and poo so that is good. He was a little upset but as
we drove home and he sat on my knee I could feel him relax more and more.
Thank you for including his pumpkin, he carried it around in the yard. We
bought him a teddy bear which he hauled over to his blanket and fell
asleep!! Stressful day for the little tyke!!
When we arrived home, we found 3 not so happy felines in their observation
towers but 2 will be transported home next week and I am left with my Miss
Kitty who is 14 years so I don't expect issues because she is the evasive
kinda girl.
He is great...thanks...............we are leaning towards Nitro for a name
but he is so happy and settled we will think more ??
Thanks again..we will keep you posted on his progress for sure.

Maria,
I will try and send you some new pics of Kedar in the near future. He is
doing very well. At his annual vet check up in May he weighed 80 lbs., and
with all our running/biking this summer he is probably down to 75 lbs. He
has become even more protective of Taylor and all kids, especially around
the water. He really hates to see anyone jump off the dock, or fall when
waterskiing, tubing, etc. He ‘cries’ a lot when Taylor is ‘on the water’ and
thinks she may be in danger.
He of course is close with all of us, but remains Daddy’s boy. He proved
quite helpful this summer, when Glen had some work to do under the cabin.
Glen would call out if he needed a tool and Kedar would take him the hammer,
water bottle or whatever.
Thank you for the pic of your new
champion. Your web site looks great. I visit there to see all your new dogs.
Take care,
Robyn

Hi Maria.
I finally got ahold of Pat B. so we will be starting a class on Oct. 16 so
should be fun. Koda is feeling much better. No limping anymore!
Here are a few pics of the goofball. I was also going to tell you that it
appears next spring we will be looking for another Whispawillow shepherd.
Although I want another boy, it seems I have been overuled by the women in
the house so it looks like we want a girl!
Talk to you soon.

Hey Maria
How are you? Seamus sends his love. He's doing fine and is such a good 2
year old. He's obedient off leash as well as on, and has a young 5 year old
friend named Maddie who is deaf. She signs things to him and he happily
responds - they have a language all their own.
His best canine friend is a 10 month old Border Collie, Lacey, who certainly
keeps him on his toes, but he is a perfect gentleman with her even when she
ambushes him at a full run and steals his ball.
Going to come visit one of these days! I hope everyone - human and canine -
is fine up there!

Hi Maria,
Things are good! Trigger is doing well. She is growing like a weed. Tonight
she has her graduation from obedience classes, so we will send some grad
pics to you. She has been teething for awhile now, its nice to see her sharp
baby teeth be gone! We have her booked in to be spade next month. She has
quite the personality, and is still all ears and paws. Have you heard about
her brothers and sisters? How are they all doing?
I'll send pics soon.

Hi there Maria,
Thanks so much for the pic of Mac. What a beaut!!! Another champion in the
books! I cannot believe how much these fur brothers and sisters look
alike!!! That Ruby and Tyson....quite the offspring they produce!!! Good
work Maria!
Our Kismet is a big girl now too....just coming up on the Big 2, Oct 6!!!
She should be hitting 80 lbs I'm thinking. The last vet visit she was shy of
70...but we're pretty sure she's thickened up quite a bit. She is still like
a kid, and forever will be. Thank goodness for that as she will be just like
her Mom...kids always! I met Sinjin as well...offspring of Tyson, unsure of
damn. What a beautiful girl as well....looks my Kismet when she was only 5-6
months. Owner Darren and his girlfriend Amy were pretty impressed to see the
similarities between Kismet and Sinjin's fur...the curly coat of Tyson's
chosen offspring...too funny. Just beautiful, the whole lot of them!
I can never thank you enough for my beautiful girl. I will be sending more
pics for you soon.
Take care and have fun with all the fur babies.

Good Morning Maria
Well, Miss Pretty made it here safe and sound. She is beautiful - the family
loves her. So far she seems to be a perfect match for us - great work!
We've finally figured out what her name will be. Naiyah Storm. I'm not sure
how the registered name thing works but hopefully that will fit somehow.
Naiyah is doing great and is currently having a bit of breakfast. She's
become particularly attached to a little plastic cup she found under my
daughter's bed. She carries it around the house like she's having tea.
One question we had was in regards to the green paint on her thigh. Can you
tell us what that was for? (The green ink is part
of the tattoo process - Maria)
She has an appointment with our Vet on Tuesday so we'll forward you the
results following that. Unfortunately the training classes are full for the
rest of this year and won't start up again until February. We'll get her
booked in for then. There is also agility training this spring that we will
get her into.

Hi Maria ... I was so busy talking
your ear off - did I mention I fell in love with the little guy the minute I
seen him. He is just so sweet - a real little cuddler too. I thought it was
so cute when he went into his "show stance" and then realized he was
piddling!! .. lol ... He's not too happy right now as I put him in his crate
for the night or at least 2 hrs until it's potty time again. I've rigged the
door so that when I open it, it stays open and that way he can go in and out
whenever he wants until I close it. He is a happy little guy though he's
crying right now as it is such a big change for him .. he doesn't have his
brothers and sisters to curl up with. I put the two crates facing each other
so maybe that will help him a bit. Of course Chewy has to sleep in my room
on a blanket though I have to tie him to the door as he can't be trusted not
to piddle on the livingroom carpet if he has free rein at night. The daytime
is ok but something about the night and I know he can hold it for quite a
while. In any event, we are all happy to have our little guy here. I will
send you the pictures of Miss Pretty and Targo as soon as I get them.
Take care .. bye for now ... you must be EXHAUSTED!!
p/s thank you for sending his toy and chew with him and his blanket.
