"There is nothing more
rewarding than to hear how much our dogs have enriched your lives. It
is truly an honor for me to have so many wonderful clients. Thank you
everyone" - Maria Fabrik
Whispawillow has placed
puppies and young adults in companion/pet homes, obedience homes, agility
homes, show homes and in other breeding kennels all over Canada and the USA. If you acquired your
puppy from us and would like to submit your testimonial or comments, please email me and I will add yours
too.
To a prospective puppy/dog buyer;
When my family and I were talking about getting a puppy I originally wanted
to get a Rottweiler. But when I came across the Whispawillow Kennel web site
and began looking at all their German Shepherds; right away I fell in love
with Echo and Phoenix. They are very beautiful dogs. So we contacted the
Fabriks and made the decision to purchase one of their puppies. I have been
very happy to be a client to them; they are very kind and caring people. If
I ever have a concern with my puppy I know that I can get a hold of Maria
and she will help me anyway she can. I go to the web site all the time to
see the updates and look at the other dogs that they have and how they are
all doing.
I purchased my beautiful girl, Nykea
from them as a companion and I am very pleased with my purchase. She is a
very beautiful and a strong puppy. She is only five and a half months now
and she is still very puppy. She loves the kids and loves to go for walks.
We are not to sure if her and the cat are friends yet but they do run around
the house all the time chasing each other and they seem to be having fun,
that is until the cat gets mad and hisses at her. LOL
When I first met the Fabrik family I
was very happy to see that the puppies had a very nice and large home to run
around and play. The adult dogs were all healthy and happy looking although
they did let us know that they too wanted to come out to play but I think
that with the puppies around and that many adults around having they all out
at the same time would be total kaos. LOL.
I will say that the decision to get a
puppy from them was an easy one. I saw the pictures, talked to Maria, and
met the dogs, I was very happy and I know that I will recommend anyone to
get a puppy if they can from Whispawillow Kennels.
To all that show interest in these
beautiful dogs and to all that want to show them, Good Luck :o)
A happy puppy buyer

Maria,
We've decided to call Elmo "Sam." He's adapting very well to his new
surroundings and brothers, Rylee (Bichon Havanese) and Kobe (Cocker
Spaniel). I can't believe how smart he is, and we've only had him for a
short while. Here are some pics of Sam soon after he came home, we'll keep
you posted.

Hi Maria
A few photos of Luna as she has been growing up.
She is now 16 months old, and is a fantastic dog, the epitome of a GSD.
We all love her very much.

Hi Maria
Ryder is doing great! She fits in so well. The first day she was a bit
unsure, but after a sleep, she was up and at em, playing in the pool with
Roman and chasing terrier puppies around. Today we had great excitement, the
dogs caught a bird :( On the bright side Ryder didn't know what to do
with the feathery thing, sniffed it once and ignored it :) The terriers
however did know what to do :o(
Thanks again for her, she is awesome!!

hi Maria
Just to let you know how Tucker`s getting on. He`s doing really well he
likes to play with his toys especially his ball which he likes to roll down
the stairs then when it stops rolling he gets it then does it again. He was
very quiet when he first came but now he's such a character very intelligent
and will do anything for a treat. We have been training him abit each day
and he learns very fast on what he needs to do. But when he plays he does
get abit excited sometimes. We have been socializing him with other dogs and
he quite likes it after a few minutes and he's great with kids.
Mind you he made us jump the other day he barked at someone knocking at the
door which is the only time he has barked. He is putting more weight on now
and he's getting a good appetite. He follows us both around and doesn't miss
a trick.
We will keep in touch and let you know how he's doing.
bye for now

Hi Maria,
I am proud to announce that JaKai did receive her TT today. She
reacted sure and steady with all her tasks. As you know my fear was the
drunkard coming after her due to her trauma of being lost. She perked up her
ears and head and watched his every move, then squaring off with her body to
his, still VERY focused. When the hand raised with the bat and the yelling
at her she stood tall and strong and gave some very strong warning barks,
the moment he retreated she stopped barking, looked at me and came in with a
wagging tail. I am very proud.
Every day with her I fall in love all over again. She truly is my
"one in a life time".

Hello Maria,
I am just writing you a short note . Tommy is settling in more and more each
day, he has become a ladies dog as he has bonded with me quite well. He sure
is good in the bath tub. He sleeps in side and loves to sit on the couch, we
have leather. He is a bit of a shoe lover and is now playing with his toys.
He has stood his ground with the other dogs, telling them he is the boss. He
also goes for runs beside our Quad, he is working out well so far.
live, love,laugh always.
Maureen - Echville, AB.
Hi Maria,
Thanks for keeping in touch. My Omar is still the Best Boy in the
World! He still has not learned to play nice and probably never will.
He is so much fun and he loves to please and play. He tries to go everywhere
with you and he sure knows when we point to the house for him to go wait on
the porch. I try to walk everyday - a miles and 3/4 and he patiently
sits and watches me from the house. He knows he is not allowed to
leave the yard and follow me. When I get to the end of the lane, he
waits until I call him. We inherited 2 cats about 6 months old and he
sure wanted lunch for the first 2 weeks but now they are inseparable.
If only he had another dog to learn to play nice with. Just thought I
would let you know how things were going and how much we love Omar! I
would have loved another Champion in the house on paper but in our hearts he
is our Champion! I would still like a girl again so you never know.....

Hey there Maria,
Yeah, Kismet sure is a beaut! I just love her to death....she's quite
the gal. Obedience class is going well too, I'm quite proud of
our girl. How is Tyra doing? I haven't checked the site
recently, wondering how big your girl is now too...any updates on the other
siblings....always interested to see how all are doing.
Hope that you are doing great and all is going good for you. I know
you are one busy lady, so take care of you.
I will chat again soon.
Kismet's Mom
Hi Maria,
Mac is doing very well. He loves his tree house. He over looks
the yard and also watches the neighbors yard next door. You never hear
a peep from him unless he's hungry or someone new has entered either yards.
He has his own wading pool he plays in all day. He likes to bark under
water. The two shitty sues are still getting use to him but both cats love
him. He enjoys his walks and runs buts prefers to stay in the yard
with all of us.
We dropped out of show classes. I'm entering Mac in myself for Sept.
I'll do all handling. Ren the German Shepherd Lady say's I work very
well with him and should do well showing him. I think Mac will teach
me more than I could teach him.. My shoulder is better but not 100% yet.
I still receive 3
physio treatments a week. I'm working 3 days a week and will keep this
schedule for the rest of the summer.
We will be attending the dog show this weekend. I will watch out for
Whispawillow's Poetry N'Motion. Kohl is going to be a definite must to see..
I hope you had a great weekend in Winnipeg. How did Tyson and Duke do?
I'm sure well.
Take care,
Val - Nanaimo, BC
Hi Maria,
Just wanted to let you know how Kona has been doing. She has finished puppy
kindergarten and has started puppy agility and basic obedience classes. She
LOVES playing with the other puppies and is quite smart - she's learning a
lot of great stuff at agility and is catching on to most commands. Kona also
LOVES to chase our cat, and I'm starting to think that the cat might kind of
enjoy it herself?!? I will send some photos of her via regular mail in the
next week. She has changed so much - she now weighs in at 11.7kg and is
getting so tall. And her ears have been up for about 6 weeks now. She is
very pretty. I will write again soon to keep you up to date on all of Kona's
big adventures.

Hello Maria;
We purchased Missy (Whispawillow's New Found Glory) a little over a year
ago.Thank you for Missy, she has the most AMAZING temperament I have ever
seen in a dog, and she is absolutely gorgeous. She is also very protective
of the household, especially the kids, she brightens everyones day with her
goofy antics as well! Thanks again!

Hi Maria,
Just a note to tell you that Seamus is now 80 lbs. and doing well. He has
finally learned "stay" and today I left him loose in the house for 2 hrs.
When I returned, I couldn't open the back door because he was lying against
it. But he was very well behaved. When I asked him how he made out, he did
his prancing and slapping his front feet on the floor dance and took me down
the hall to show me my "polar" gloves which he had liberated from the top of
the washing machine. They were well-slobbered on but not hurt in the least.
Of course, he's been insufferable the rest of the day - acting like he's
king of the house.
No problems whatsoever - just great fun, and wonderful companionship. He has
learned to find the cordless phone for me when it rings. We stopped just
short of letting him retrieve it as he tends to bite down on the
speakerphone button which alarms the caller (good for telemarketers
though!).
So we're just checking in and hoping all is well with you and the pack!
Love,
Deborah & Seamus

Hey there Maria,
Long time no chat.....i thought i would send you some recent pics of our
girl Kismet.
Here are some of her returning/playin' with the kong and then in the back
jumpin' and playin'.
She's grown quite a bit as you can see, she is currently 34 lbs and changin
alot. She got her last set of shots, rabies and all, so she
should be set for the next year. She will be getting spaded and her
ambylical hernia fixed up on March 16. Just making sure that the
date is appropriate for her age before we actually take her in. Always
wanting your professional opinion...that will never change.
She is still the happy, fun loving and very playful girl that we expected
her to be. She loves ice cubes, knuckle bones and steaks....all
her faves. She is also enjoyin' afternoon and evening runs with her
dad...haha...she's just too loveable. As you see, she is big as
a horse and runs like one too. I'm thinkin' she's gonna be a good 100
lb'r before ya know it.
I checked out the website, saw the family on there, do you want me to take a
stacked photo and then maybe Kizzy could be famous too? Ya never
know....just a thought.
I hope that all the babes are great, and that you got offers on those pups
in the paper. That was one big litter! Give kisses to
Tyson and Ruby....we'ze thinkin of ya all!
Thanks again, and take care of you and yours.

Hi Maria
How are you? We are good in Arizona. Chase is doing good. I think he's still
waiting for the snow. He loves all the family yet very good property
defender. Anyway I just wanted to know if you had any news about his
paperwork. If so please let me know.
Thank you...Patricia
Hi Maria,
JaKai and I are doing great. We were blessed. She has hit 62 pounds
and is beautiful. Everywhere I take her, (well she is never without me)
people comment on her beauty and personality. She approaches new adventures
with an open mind and when uncertain will look for me to guide her. She
follows my lead without question.
We will be going to Ewetopia for some herding instinct testing and a
day of fun. Well, actually we are having her birthday party there with her
best doggy friend Tova. As you can see in the picture Tova is a Cardigan
Welsh Corgi. It is fun to see them pal around and know that Tova was
actually bigger than JaKai at one time.
I have also attached a picture of JaKai's first ferry ride, she was
not so impressed but there is nothing better than a sunrise or sunset while
your on a ferry looking at downtown Seattle. That is Seattle's Best.

Hey you,
Sooo good to hear from you...i'm glad you got the pics...i sent quite a few,
but wanted to show you from start to finish. I sure do like the family
pic with the whole famdamily.....
Glad you enjoyed them....and yes.....she is absolutely gorgeous....i just
can't get enough Of her. She's the best addition to my life ever!
I hope that you are great and all is well Out there. If there are ever
any pics of the rest of her family, feel free to send them on to
Me.....would be nice to have an updated pic on them too.....
Thanks always,
Kizzy's mom |
Hey there,
So great to hear from ya...thanks for th info too. I did want to
double check with ya regarding pics that I sent...just wondering if you got
them....i can send them on again. I overloaded when I mailed ya, But
wanted to give you a variety to chose from on your own. Just let me
know and I can re-send If need be.
Otherwise.....all is good with our girl. She is passed the sleepy
stage and is full of energy always. We take her for morning runs and evening
also...a couple even. She is fantastic on her leash And already fits
into that collar that we first had purchased...added one hole for now.
She just loves being outside, And just playin' overall. She is doing
very good with the potty training and sleeps in the kennel Quite well.
I still visit her at lunch....just in case. She is so entertaining and
is getting quite A little personality too her. She knows how to get
our attention and even barks at the sound of The phone and the doorbell.
Her ears seem to be perked right up...shouldn't be a problem there. She's
grown like a weed and even had her 2nd set of shots yesterday.Didn't get a
weigh in though. Let's just say she's big. The pics will prove
that.
I'm takin' pics left and right of her...don't want to miss any moments of
her puppy time....or anytime At that matter. She is a loving and very
playful girl. She loves to visit with everybody and loves to
Run....mommy is getting in shape that's for sure. I tried to get her
into a socializing class but they Were booked....i'm tryin' to get on the
list for March...starting apps in mid February...cross our fingers. She eats
well...plays well and loves her mornings! She's just an overall happy
doggy and I cannot thank You enough for her being in our lives. Even
Grampa is quite attached!
Thanks again, and cannot wait to hear from you again. I will definitely
give her a big hug for ya! Hug all your fur kids too....wishing you
well.

Hi Maria,
Chaser is doing really great. He comes and goes through the doggie
door just like he had all his life. He really is sweet. When you
send the rest of the papers I will let you know I received them.
I was somewhat apprehensive about buying him this way (long
distance) but it sure worked out for us. I really do appreciate your
honesty and all. He is great. He acts like he's been here forever
he's real good with everyone so far. So thanks again

Hi Maria ,
Just wanted to write you and tell you about Savannah.
I love her! She is so smart and loving and learns very quickly!
Savannah follows me around the house and will bark, but all I have to say is
leave it and she stops. I just think she is a love bug, but her bark
and looks can scare people away. She looks great, and is going away
with Sam for a few weeks of training since I have been sick and in the
hospital for days. She is great with me and my best friend!
Thanks for giving her to me

Hi Maria
I must apologize for not being in touch with you sooner but between raising
a pup (or miniature horse), selling a house, doing renovations, moving, not
having more than a laptop for a computer and our busy drag racing schedule
throughout the summer we just haven't had a chance to sit down and spend
some time downloading pictures to forward them on.
Buster is doing very well and we are starting obedience with him on November
2nd. We, as yet, have not had him fixed and he is definitely a
boy dog. Buster is huge. I'm not sure how much more he will grow
but as of October 2nd (8 months old) he weighed in at 80 lbs. We think
that he believes he is very much a lap dog and is convinced that he doesn't
see himself as any bigger than our miniature pincher.
Anyway I have attached a lot of pictures for you to view. I hope you
enjoy them. We have got a beautiful dog and I don't think the
pictures do him any justice, there good but he is better in real life. We
discovered that Buster loves the water. It all started with his
gray water bucket that he loved to play in and the graduated to the purple
paddling pool we got for him to splash around in!! Pictures 3 is taken
in our trailer which is our home away from home in the summer for racing
which Buster seems to have adjusted to quite nicely. He loves all the people
and his only complaint is when Bill warms up the car. When that
happens he prefers to be inside with me or in his kennel. Anyway I really
hope you enjoy the pics. We really enjoy viewing you website (which we
do frequently) and appreciate you staying in touch and the email you
forward.
Take care.

Just wanted to say hi and Koda and I are doing fine. She's a sweet
girl, just got her fixed and microchipped. She was bounding around the
next day already. She's a real treat to have in the north here - keeps all
the other dogs out of the yard. She's also been really good company. Plan on
being around that area in the new year so hopefully will get a chance to
drop in and say hi.

Hi Maria,
Great to hear from you! Yes I have been watching Lil Miss Cher, she
looks great. I am in class with JaKai now and I didn't realize how technical
showing can be. We are working on our stack and I will get you a picture
soon, even if it is not perfect you will be able to see her lines. She seems
to still have an overbite but a few of the people I have talked to says that
the Crystaridge (spelling?) lines sometimes do and that it should correct
itself by about 9 months. I hope so and if not it is only a fault and it
will not stop us.She seems to be chewing at the back of her mouth more than
ever so I am hoping she is getting in her molars and her lower jaw is
growing.
We did however try for out CGC. JaKai did perfect until the owner out
of sight for 3 minutes, she lasted 2 min 30 sec, then went nuts. I guess
GSD's all have a hard time with that one. This Sunday we are headed down to
Ewetopia for some herding trials and instinct testing. With the way she
herds the other dogs at the dog park I am going to have her tested.
JaKai is such a joy to own I cannot put it into words. I have been
very sick this last month with pneumonia, sinus blockage and ear infections
so we have been at home quite a bit. She has gotten very protective like she
knows I am not at my best.
I will be sending some pictures as soon as I get them.
Thank you again for my soul mate!

Dear Maria,
I am so sorry for your loss. In the short time I've shared my life with
Seamus, it has occurred to me many times what a wonderful blend he is of
Rose and Tyson. He looks like his dad and is that goofy too, but he has
Rose's drive and intensity and certainly her clear eyed intelligence. I
cried when I got your message, because I know how much you love each of your
dogs - even after they go to their forever homes, and I know how much this
must hurt. I am so grateful to have Seamus in my life. Rose's puppies all
carry part of her within them and you are blessed to still have some of them
with you. I will keep you in my thoughts in the days to come. Here is a
lovely poem I found that sums up what Seamus means to me. Know that we
"love" you and that we are taking good care of each other.
Love,
Deborah & Seamus
JUST MY DOG
He is my other eyes that can see above
the clouds; my other ears that hear above
the winds. He is the part of me that can
reach out into the sea.
He has told me a thousand times over that
I am his reason for being: by the way he
rests against my leg; by the way he thumps
his tail at my smallest smile; by the way he
shows his hurt when I leave without taking him.
(I think it makes him sick with worry when he
is not along to care for me.)
When I am wrong, he is delighted to forgive.
When I am angry, he clowns to make me smile.
When I am happy, he is joy unbounded.
When I am a fool, he ignores it.
When I succeed, he brags.
Without him, I am only another man. With him,
I am all-powerful.
He is loyalty itself.
He has taught me the meaning of devotion.
With him, I know a secret comfort and a
private peace. He has brought me understanding
where before I was ignorant.
His head on my knee can heal my human hurts.
His presence by my side is protection against
my fears of dark and unknown things.
He has promised to wait for me...
Whenever...wherever--in case I need him.
And I expect I will--as I always have.
He is just my dog.
--- Gene Hill ---
Hi Maria, well I haven't given you an update for a while so here goes. Nykea
is wonderful!!!!!! I have started playing with her with a tennis ball and
she is starting to retrieve for me. My daughter, and her husband and two
boys, 1 and 3, and their male dog (lab X border) came up for the weekend.
She was great with the 3 toddlers and was very careful not to step on the
little one. Their dog is quite a pushy dog but is not aggressive, just like
Nykea. We turned them loose in the house where we could watch them. They had
so much fun playing. I have also socialized Nykea with my big male Belgian,
he is quite dominate and doesn't want to play with her but probably will
after he gets to know her a bit better. (He can't see very much.) She also
has been playing with my other male Belgian some and they are getting along
very well. I have not seen any aggression at all with her even though she
was never really socialized with other dogs. All my dogs have a different
reaction to her so she is really learning how to behave with each one. She
is starting to feel quite at home now and is starting to really bond with
me. We go to agility once a week and freestyle once a week. She is learning
new things every day and everyone who sees her on a
weekly basis can't believe how much she has come along in the two months
since I picked her up.
I have also taken her into a private obedience lesson. The instructor
really loved her and said she is going to make a lovely obedience dog. She
was very impressed by her attitude, responsiveness, and her beautiful
movement.
Nykea also loves to go cycling 3 times a week. (I have a
springer for my bike.) She has also learned a great deal of patience and
will lay quietly at my feet while I watch a program on television. ( This
was a really big thing for her as she couldn't be still at all when I first
brought her home. What else can I say. I am so impressed by her loving
temperament and outgoing friendliness. She is so bold that she shows no fear
of any of the agility equipment what so ever. She also has quite a soft
temperament so I don't have to get after her very much to get her to listen
to me.
What else can I say. We love her.
Thank you
Rose Ann
