POLICY FOR APPROVING BITCHES: The bitch must be CKC or AKC registered with full breeding privileges, be of sound structure and temperament, free of disqualifying faults; clean, healthy, free of parasites and in season. You must provide a 4-generation pedigree and copy of CKC or AKC papers. You must provide proof of a clear Brucellosis test and normal vaginal culture (BC/VC) from the evaluating laboratory, prior to mating. You must pay the stud fee at the time of mating. A stud dog provides a valuable service and bitch owner shall be liable for any loss of future service due to bitch owner's concealment of health problems. A litter is not eligible for AKC/CKC Registration if a second male services the serviced bitch during this heat cycle, nor is the owner of the bitch entitled to a free repeat breeding. You agree to keep the bitch confined to ensure no other dog can mate her accidentally before her season is finished. You agree that no offspring resulting from the mating shall be transferred to a dog dealer, pet shop, puppy mill or agent of either. Puppies sold or given to companion homes shall be placed on CKC and/or AKC limited registration (non-breeding). Buyers/adopters of puppies on full registration shall be required to sign a written agreement that they in turn will not transfer said puppies or their offspring to a pet shop, dealer, puppy mill or agent of either. The bitch owner is responsible for any and all expenses related to the stud service, including but not limited to transportation and delivery to the stud owner, any and all vet expenses incurred while the bitch is in the care of the stud owner. A $15 per day fee for boarding will be charged for each day the bitch is left in the stud owner's custody after 5 days stay. Such expenses must be paid in full before the CKC or AKC litter application will be signed by the stud owner. STUD OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY: The bitch will be given proper care and handling, but stud owner cannot accept responsibility for losses due to causes other than the negligence of stud owner. Stud dog is guaranteed to be in the same good health as required of the bitch. We will provide a 4-generation pedigree on the stud dog as well as a quality photo. GUARANTEE: The stud fee is for servicing the bitch with a fertile stud dog. It is not a guarantee that the mating will produce a viable litter; However If your bitch fails to conceive, and you notify us within 10 days of the estimated due date of the litter, we will offer a return service at no charge. The birth of at least one puppy constitutes a litter. However, if only one puppy results, a return service will be provided on her NEXT season, or within one year of the original breeding (unless another time is agreed upon), provided all the other conditions of the agreement are met. The introduction of semen from the penis into the vagina of the female constitutes a mating regardless if it's an inside or outside tie or by Artificial Insemination (AI's will only be done with the bitch owners full knowledge and consent at owners additional expense). We are not responsible for the ovulation (or not) of your bitch or for knowing if she is free of physical obstructions or genetic abnormalities which may interfere with or reduce her ability to conceive. It is the bitch owner's responsibility to have a complete reproductive check up of the female done PRIOR to attempted mating. To the best of our knowledge our male is fertile at the time of mating, is in good health, free of disqualifying faults and is FULLY CKC or AKC registered. If your female does not conceive yet our male produces litters with other females prior to and after your service that is proof the male is FERTILE.
